What We Provide:

Cedar Lodge provides an Intensive Outpatient Program, a Crisis Residential Program and a Prevention Program.

Intensive Outpatient Program

The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is designed to minimize the disruption to the home and work routine by providing intensive substance abuse treatment in the least restrictive environment. The client is allowed to work and maintain his/her home life and at the same time receive quality treatment for substance abuse.

The program is offered up to three evenings per week, three hours per session, for a period of two to six months depending on the individual needs of the client. This program consists of a minimum 100 hours in intensive treatment. Services are provided primarily in a therapeutic group setting, but individual and family counseling is available, as needed.

Candidates for the IOP must be 19 years of age or older, have a primary diagnosis of chemical dependence or chemical abuse, and have adequate housing. It is also preferable that the individual have a viable support system within their living arrangement.

Crisis Residential Program

The Crisis Residential Program provides the chemically dependent person the opportunity to obtain stabilization in a structured therapeutic environment and to gain the necessary life skills to live a sober and productive life.

The treatment program normally lasts from three to four weeks and consists of group therapy, individual therapy, family therapy, and active participation in 12-Steps support groups. Assistance with G.E.D. work is provided, if needed.

Candidates for the Crisis Residential Program must be 19 years of age or older and have a primary diagnosis of chemical dependence. A candidate must be sober for at least seventy-two hours prior to admission. This is an intensive, voluntary treatment setting designed to help create a foundation on which the chemically dependent person can build a life changing recovery program, which is an ongoing process.

An initial fee of $300.00 is required of all admissions.

Substance Abuse Prevention Program

Preventive services are provided as a part of the Mountain Lakes Substance Abuse Program. Prevention activities focus on teaching life skills to both children and adults. Children's workshops focus on using a variety of activities to encourage children to develop self-respect and respect for others. Adult workshops include parenting classes, stress-management and general workshops on alcoholism and addiction.
