Center for Recovering Families at The Council on Alcohol Drugs Houston

At the Center, individuals and their families begin a comprehensive process as they commit to recovery from harmful use of substances or other compulsive behaviors. In treating maladaptive behaviors, it is difficult to achieve lasting success without also addressing the underlying family dynamics at work in each individual’s life. We provide ongoing programs in family systems-based counseling, especially in relation to issues of dependency, co-dependency, compulsive behaviors, trauma and addiction.
