South Arkansas Substance Abuse

Founded in 2006, our goal is to make quality alcohol and other drug treatment services available at affordable rates. As you will find described on this website, we offer several options for treatment modalities and services for some special populations.

 

SASA is licensed by the Arkansas Department of Health and Human Services/Division of Behavioral Health Services/Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention. SASA is a major provider of diversified behavioral health care programs, specializing in substance abuse treatment for adults.

 

At SASA we present alcoholism and other addictions as diseases and stress to clients that the only means of keeping this disease in remission is total abstinence from all mind and mood altering chemicals. All counseling sessions are facilitated by a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor or Counselor in Training under the direct supervision of a Certified Clinical Supervisor. Small group sessions are held regularly to help meet the emotional needs of the clients. Responsibility for one's actions is stressed throughout the treatment cycle. Attendance at outside 12 Step recovery meetings is encouraged and transportation is provided and attendance is staff supervised.
