The Intensive Outpatient Treatment is conducted by group or individual counseling sessions on a weekly basis. The individual counseling is scheduled directly between the License Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC).

• Developing and implementing substance abuse treatment, gang intervention and crime prevention programs; and
• Educating the community on criminal justice issues.

Community Counseling Clinic is a private state certified treatment agency. All treatment services are conducted in accordance with the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM PPC-2). The Chemical Dependency Professional staff are members of the National Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors and the Chemical Dependency Professionals of Washington State.

Our addiction treatment program is licensed by the Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse (OASAS) and offers counseling for those seeking support in their recovery from drugs and alcohol. Program treatment is provided through individual and group counseling.

After more than twenty years of serving Families in the Communities in the County of
Los Angeles, in March 2, 2004 COMMUNITY FAMILY COUNSELING PROGRAMS
was incorporated as a non-profit Corporation in order to become more Resourceful
and better serve the low-income Families within Los Angeles County. CFCP
continues with its Dedication and Commitment to its successful unique and Innovative
top-down Family Treatment approach that ensures healthy Family Relations and
Protects the Children from Child Abuse and Neglect, Emotional harm, Child
Abandonment, and provides Family Stability.

Alcoholism and drug dependence are chronic illnesses that are progressive, frequently unremitting and often life threatening. In their advanced stages, they can result in dysfunction, despair, homelessness or crime. However, like other chronic but manageable illnesses, with the right treatments and services, the harm of serious addictive disorders can be dramatically reduced. Importantly, by working with families and communities, addiction can often be prevented altogether.
