The mission of The Dorchester Alcohol and Drug Commission is to provide high quality, affordable outpatient treatment and prevention services that meet the needs of the citizens within the Dorchester county area in a respectful, confidential environment.

At the Drop Inn Center, our mission is simple – as a community of residents, staff and volunteers, we work together to provide basic human services for the men and women of the Greater Cincinnati area who are experiencing homelessness. DAAC's mission is to reduce the negative impact of alcohol and other drug use upon individuals, families, schools and our community. We work to solve the problems associated with chemical dependency which endanger the health, safety and stability of people in our community. We are a private, non profit organization that has been providing alcohol and other drug abuse services since 1969, HIV services since 1986 and HCV services since 1999.

DAAC serves clients of all ages, ethnicities, class and background. The demographics of our clients reflect the demographics of the population in Sonoma County. We provide counseling services to more than 2,500 individuals and education, outreach and testing services to an additional 21,000 individuals in our community each year.

Everyone DAPC touches, every chemical dependent person, every family we support, and every employer who gets a recovered worker is a link strengthening the community. This is our challenge and our reward.

In 1987, we embarked on our spiritual calling; a calling to pull other brands from the fire of chronic drug use.  We founded DAP because we both wanted to give our lives to helping others break their addictions, and preventing others from starting.

Our ultimate mission is to be a safe, structured, and supportive resource for people who are committed to living faith-based, addiction-free lives.

Duke Medicine conceptually integrates the Duke University Health System, the Duke University School of Medicine, and the Duke University School of Nursing.

It is the combination of research, clinical care, and education that takes place through the efforts of our faculty, staff, students, and trainees at many different sites throughout our region and worldwide.

The Brooklyn HIV, Hepatitis C, Substance Abuse and Co-Occurring Disorder Program provides HIV and Hepatitis C testing, intervention and treatment resources for the criminal justice population in Brooklyn.

Currently, the Hospital provides a comprehensive array of acute care and outpatient services, including: clinical laboratory, radiology, surgery, cardiopulmonary, cardiac rehabilitation, physical, occupational and speech therapy, pulmonary testing services, EEG testing, lithotripsy and one of the few capsule endoscopy programs in the region. The Lockport site also operates a 20-bed alcohol and drug treatment unit.

Eastside Addiction Professionals is a counseling and treatment practice for the family and the substance abusing loved one.  We have been in practice for seven years with a combined total of over 50 years of counseling experience. 

The Educational Alliance provides outpatient and residential drug treatment, as well as a drug prevention program.  All programs are comprehensive, confidential and customized to a client's needs.

The Effort offers a full continuum of substance abuse and co-occurring disorders treatment. Integration of addiction services with primary care and mental health opens up a new door in treating the whole person and addresses secondary issues complicating or preventing a full recovery.

When everything is lost is the best time to find something. We know, because we help people find the most important thing they've lost - themselves. At a time when individuals or their families may feel there is no help is when we can help the most.
