Council on Addiction Recovery Services, Inc. will effect change for a healthy community that embraces the acceptance of recovery, related to substance abuse and associated disorders by serving as the leading community resource, helping those affected by chemical or behavioral dependencies.

Addiction devastates lives, families and communities. It destroys productive people and turns their lives into a shadowy nightmare existence. We at CARS believe that through partnership and hard work we can rebuild and transform that darkness into light.

Cayuga Addiction Recovery Services has two outpatient clinics and is staffed by a team of fourteen professional counselors. The Ithaca Clinic provides services Monday through Friday.

CDS fulfills its mission by offering a wide variety of programs to the community.

Our mission, Cease Addiction Now! Inc. is a Texas Nonprofit Charitable Corporation, which counsels the addicted, and those with other behavior modifications, their families, and peers about the detriment of and restoration process for addiction, and through appropriate spiritual guidance and/or professional services rendered, to those so implicated, that they can become Whole, Functional, Reintegrated and thus more beneficial to society.

To provide a consumer sensitive, outcome-oriented, behavioral healthcare system, open to affiliate with other organizations to deliver quality services.

The Center should be flexible and dynamic;
The Center should provide the highest quality care at the most reasonable cost;
The staff and services should reflect the make-up of the community;
The Center should maximize resources by developing partnerships within the community; and,
The Center should assume a leadership role in the development and implementation of science-based programs.
