DAAC's mission is to reduce the negative impact of alcohol and other drug use upon individuals, families, schools and our community. We work to solve the problems associated with chemical dependency which endanger the health, safety and stability of people in our community. We are a private, non profit organization that has been providing alcohol and other drug abuse services since 1969, HIV services since 1986 and HCV services since 1999.
DAAC serves clients of all ages, ethnicities, class and background. The demographics of our clients reflect the demographics of the population in Sonoma County. We provide counseling services to more than 2,500 individuals and education, outreach and testing services to an additional 21,000 individuals in our community each year.
