Newsflash

MEMBERS OF CONGRESS BOWING TO PHARMA LOBBYISTS - WHO'S HANDS ARE DIRTIEST?  It is well known that a majority of members of Congress have shockingly frequent instances of breaking the law,  from DUI's  to solicitation,  to spousal abuse and drug related charges, and maybe not all quite made public.  Speculators are therefore  wondering if the amount of bowing that occurs in Congress toward whatever outlandish requests the pharma lobbyists make could possibly  be more akin to a blackmail session than anything related to having the public interests in mind.  Something to think about?

Drug Facts and Statistics

Cocaine, methamphetamine, heroin and marijuana are major problems within Utah. They mainly come from the Mexican criminal organization located in the west coast and Mexico. The heroin found in Utah is the Mexican brown and the black tar. It becomes a major concern for the authority as heroin is more used than it was a few years ago. Utah has came up with more severe laws concerning meth labs so it has decreased from 272 labs seized in 1999 to 7 labs seized in 2007. There is some marijuana, which is grown in some remote areas of the state.

  • In 2007 there were over 200 arrests for marijuana possession in Utah
  • there were over 5000 arrest that were drug related
  • There are about 59,000 persons who are addicted to illicit drugs in Utah
  • About 10% of high school seniors who uses marijuana
  • 1.7 % of students uses cannabis on school properties
  • 75% of federal drug sentences are methamphetamine related

Cocaine Rehab in Utah

Cocaine can be obtained even in kilogram quantities in the Utah state. Most of the cocaine market is dominated by Mexican cartel in Utah. Crack can be found but is less of a threat, it is usually produced locally. The price of cocaine has not really fluctuated in the last few years.

An individual that uses more cocaine than their body can take will go into overdose. One of the most significant and unseen problems when an individual overdoses is that there can sometimes be internal bleeding into the brain. That generally leads to death.

Meth Rehab in Utah

Methamphetamine has recently seen a shift in the state of Utah. It is no longer a problem of meth labs being in the state, but Mexican imported meth is more profitable for dealers to buy the cheap Mexican meth than to actually produce it themselves.

An individual who has been abusing methamphetamine for a long period of time and in very large doses will often be extremely addicted to meth and will have trouble even taking the decision to quit using meth. The addiction is often out of control and combating it is very difficult.

Heroin Rehab in Utah

Law officials in Utah are having a significant problem with heroin. Very large quantities are distributed in the big cities. It is mostly Mexican black tar and brown heroin that is sold in Utah, and is sold across the state. The heroin is usually packaged in balloons throughout the state.

After the user has injected heroin and it has gone into the blood stream, the effects felt will usually last for at least a few hours. Drowsiness is a symptom, but they will feel good regardless of that and they also don’t feel pain. This is one of the reasons why people are attracted to heroin.
