Where are the different alcohol and drug rehabilitation clinics available in the state of Wisconsin? Is it better to attend an addiction facility in a different state or find a rehab within Wisconsin? Would it be better to do an alcohol and drug rehab now in order to help with my legal matters, or should I wait until going to court?

Addicted.org can help with these questions.

Our organization has a database of more than 4000 various rehab treatments for alcohol and drug addiction. It can be outpatient drug treatment centers, withdrawal management facilities, residential rehab programs, and no cost rehabs in the U.S. We can suggest drug and alcohol addiction centers that fit your needs and budget.

A confidential assessment will be conducted by a licensed counselor to suggest the best addiction treatment options.  We have helped thousands of individuals addicted to drugs across the United States to find help.

Addicted.org has an incomparable approach. The first counselors you talk to are assigned to you until you or your loved one are actually attending a program.  You can reach this counselor directly at any time. When you contact Addicted.org, you become the most important person for us.

Drug Facts and Statistics

The drug situation in Wisconsin varies depending on the different areas in the state. The central and east part of Wisconsin has problems with cocaine and crack, particularly in the Milwaukee area. The western part has to deal with methamphetamine problems due to the frontier with the state of Iowa. Marijuana is spread throughout the entire state.

In 2007, there were 232 arrests that were drug related. There were 20,000 arrests for drug possession in 2006 in the entire state and more than 11,000 of them were for marijuana possession. During 2006, the federal agencies seized over 66,000 pills of MDMA. In that same year, there were 31 incidents with meth labs, and over 8,000 marijuana plants that were seized and destroyed.

In all the drug cases in the courts of Wisconsin, 39% of them were crack cocaine related. Over 23,000 people were admitted into drug and/or alcohol treatment facilities in Wisconsin and half of these were for alcohol only. Another 17% were for alcohol and a combination of another drug.

Cocaine and its crack form are both easily accessible in Wisconsin. Mexican drug trafficking organizations are dominating the cocaine importation in the state of Wisconsin. Cocaine can also be bought in large quantities, not just retail quantities.

Many users mix cocaine with other drugs to counter balance the cocaine’s effects. This can rapidly get the individual on the road to being dependent to more than one drug and intensifies the risk of major physical and psychological damage and the risks of overdosing are higher.
