GEORGIA INPATIENT DRUG AND ALCOHOL TREATMENT FACILITIES

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration website do list 57 inpatient drug treatment facilities within the state of Georgia. These facilities include traditional methods of treatment, non-twelve-step programs, and holistic drug rehabilitation methods. Residential drug rehab centers will be either a long-term or a short-term facility, and will provide all the necessary treatment methods to help all types of addiction, substance abuse, and dependency issues.

Attending inpatient treatment helps the addict focus on getting sober without being distracted by their everyday life, since the patients are residing at the rehab center. The length of an inpatient program can go anywhere from 28 days to 6 months.

Are detox programs provided at inpatient treatment centers?

Many of the inpatient drug and alcohol rehab centers throughout the state, and within the United States will have some type of detox program attached to their facility, or are in direct connection with a detox center. Detox is a very important first step, as the detox process will ensure each patient is through their withdrawal, and can safely transition into a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center.
