Drug Rehab Centers Covered by Aetna Insurance in Alaska

Last updated: 21 December 2021

With the remoteness of so many communities in the state of Alaska, it is difficult for many people to access various services. Drug and alcohol addiction impacts many people living throughout the state, especially within the larger cities where seasonal workers live and younger people. Drug rehabilitation options are available within the state, such as within the larger cities and communities. Affording treatment can be difficult for some, and Aetna health insurance may cover some of the costs involved, but this will be indicated in the policy. It is important for families who are looking for a treatment to inquire if their policy covers residential drug rehab, hospital detoxification, or even a drug detox program or outpatient services. Some of the drug treatment programs in the state may also assist with reviewing a family's policy to check if coverage is available.
