Alcohol and Drug Safety Action Programs for DUI/DWI Offenders in North Dakota

Driving while impaired is a dangerous problem, and when you are charged with a DUI in North Dakota, you may have to complete some type of alcohol and drug safety action program. This type of program is often state-wide and does help prevent people from drinking and driving again. These programs are successful and have been proven to help reduce the number of impaired driving infractions. Within the state of North Dakota, there are on average around 50 people who die because of drunk driving. Traditionally, when you attend one of these programs, you will work on different preventative measures, and this may include counseling and therapy, and education. The point of this is to ensure you do not get behind the wheel again while under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Roughly around 3.3% of the population in North Dakota who are adults and can drive have reported driving after consuming too much alcohol. It can be hard to determine your own limits, but if you are questioning whether or not you should drive, you should not drive at all.
