Alcohol and Drug Safety Action Programs for DUI/DWI Offenders in Oklahoma

Alcohol and drug safety action programs are services where someone would go, after being charged with a DUI. Within the state of Oklahoma, if you are charged with a DUI, you may have to attend some type of alcohol and drug safety action program. The purpose of this type of program is to help prevent further offenses from happening. When you work through the treatment and education, you will begin to address the factors connected to your impaired driving. Within the state of Oklahoma, there are on average 180 people killed annually because of drunk driving. When you choose to drive while under the influence of drugs or alcohol, are placing your life and lives of others at risk. When you are convicted, and sentenced with a DUI, you may be court-ordered to enroll in and complete some type of alcohol and drug safety action program. These types of programs are effective and have been proven to work.
