Alcohol and Drug Safety Action Programs for DUI/DWI Offenders in Wyoming

When you are charged with a DUI in the state of Wyoming, you may be court ordered to attend some type of alcohol and drug safety action program. This type of program does help prevent people from returning to having a problem with impaired driving. Driving under the influence is a problem for many people within the state, and roughly 2.2% of the adults who can drive in the state will do so after drinking too much alcohol. The purpose of an alcohol and drug safety action program is to help rehabilitate the person and address the factors connected to their impaired driving problem. In some cases, this could be because of substance abuse, or alcohol dependency. Driving while impaired is dangerous and doing so does have the likelihood to cause death and injury. When you choose to drive while intoxicated, or under the influence of drugs, you are taking your life and the lives of other people for granted. Unfortunately, it can be quite easy to fall into a habit of driving home after drinking or doing drugs.
