Drug and alcohol addiction in the state of New Mexico is an on-going problem, but there are many different drug and alcohol rehab centers located all throughout the state that are able to help addicts from all backgrounds. Many of these drug rehab programs can accept health insurance to help cover the costs of treatment for addicts. Not every drug addict will be able to afford private drug treatment, and this is why health insurance can help cover the cost. In the state of New Mexico, many residents have Blue Cross and Blue Shield health insurance and there are a couple of different drug and alcohol rehab centers available that accept this health insurance. These drug treatment services include outpatient programs for adults, along with detox services that can also provide medical detox services for medically supervised withdrawal. Residential drug rehab is also available, and addicts can attend for a short term residential drug treatment programs.

He is an author and a leader in the field of drug and alcohol addiction. His main focus is threefold: education, prevention and rehabilitation. To this day, he still strives to be at the forefront of technology in order to help more and more people. He is a Licensed Drug and Alcohol Treatment Specialist graduate with Honours of Stratford Career Institute. Marcel has also received a certificate from Harvard for completing a course entitled The Opioid Crisis in America and a certificate from The University of Adelaide for completing a course entitled AddictionX: Managing Addiction: A Framework for Succesful Treatment.
