California Hospital Inpatient Services for Alcohol and Drug Abuse

Across the state of California are hundreds of different drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs and services. Among these types of programs are hospital inpatient services, which are slightly different than a typical inpatient drug rehab program. Hospital inpatient programs are often referred to as residential hospital addiction treatment, and are there for people who will benefit from around the clock medical care and support. Many types of addiction may benefit from this service, and this can include alcohol addiction or a severe prescription-drug problem. Hospital inpatient drug treatments are not necessarily long-term programs, but rather short-term option for an addict who requires immediate medical care for their addiction. The many different hospital inpatient programs within the state of California can be covered by health insurance, but also the services may be paid with a daily rate. Anyone struggling with a dangerous drug addiction in the state of California can reach out to local programs for help, such as hospital inpatient drug treatment centers.

Partial Hospitalization Programs for Drug Addiction in California

All across the state of California, drug and alcohol addiction is an on-going issue and problem, especially with the opioid epidemic spreading across the United States. There are many different types of drug and alcohol treatment in the state, and partial hospitalization programs are just one form of help. These types of programs are also referred to as intensive outpatient services, and still provide a high quality of care and support. Partial hospitalization programs in California will still require the patient to attend treatment daily for five to seven days a week, for a certain amount of time each day. The length of the program will depend upon the severity of the addiction, and how long the addict has been using drugs for. An addict who has been dependent on drugs for several years may not benefit from a partial hospitalization program, and may find that a long-term residential center may be more beneficial for their situation.
