If my parents used crystal meth will that mean I will?

Not necessarily, but children of addicts are at a higher risk of becoming addicted to the drug, but it is not always the case. Most children will do whatever it takes to help their parents find the right type of help they need to treat their addiction. Seeing their parents struggle with a crystal meth addiction will increase their own awareness about the dangers of the drug and how addictive it can be. The child’s overall environment does play a role in whether or not they become addicted to the drug, and if they can make positive changes in his or her environment, they will have a better chance of not becoming addicted to the substance.
