College and University Students Addiction Services in Nebraska

The University of Nebraska is the oldest four-year public college/university in the state. There are over 15 private nonprofit universities, and the state's schools do quite well when it comes to job placement. When you go to college, the purpose is to get a job and start your career. This becomes difficult if you are caught up with drugs or alcohol. Every year, students are charged with drug and alcohol-related offenses, which makes it hard to interview for jobs. These charges can come up during the interview process, preventing you from getting the job you want. Students choose to use drugs or alcohol because of problems at home, peer pressure, academic pressure, stress, or social anxiety. If you are struggling with a drug or alcohol addiction, you must reach out for help. There are different inpatient and outpatient drug rehab centers within the state. Along with this, most colleges provide counseling programs to help students.
