College and University Students Addiction Services in Pennsylvania

The first college in Pennsylvania was founded by Benjamin Franklin, the University of Pennsylvania. This is one of Americas nine colonial colleges, and there are over 110 nonprofit private schools in the state. Along with the private schools, there are over 40 public four-year colleges. Penn State is one of the largest college communities in the nation, and five colleges in the state rank in the top 100 best schools in the US. Students who are attending these schools face the same academic pressure as other schools. Each student wants to do well, graduate, and find the job they want. If you start to abuse drugs or alcohol you are risking hurting your academic performance. Students who abuse drugs or alcohol will struggle with meeting deadlines, lower grades, and struggle with tests. However, this does not stop students from experimenting with study drugs, such as Adderall and Ritalin. These drugs are addictive, and despite being prescribed, they are widely abused by many students.
