One of the problems within the field of addiction is some "referral agencies" are, in fact, owned by treatment centers to fill their beds, which is by itself misleading visitors. This is widely covered on the Internet https://theintercept.com/2017/10/17/google-search-drug-use-opioid-epidemic/.

DRS and RNT CONSULTING LLC are an independent website and call center not owned by any treatment. We are also trying to refer you to treatment that believes in good treatment practice, not rehabs that substitute an addiction with another dependency using medication. We believe that a drug-free life can be achieved. Medication can be used but only for detox purpose.

Our goal is to give you the possibility of attain a drug-free life.

Connecticut Drug And Alcohol Treatments For Adolescents

Prescription drugs are more readily accessible now then ever before, and it seems adolescents come across them more often then not. Within many households across the state prescription medications are left unattended, and for some teens this can lead to deadly consequences. The people of the state are aware of the problems are doing quite a bit to counter it. Many teens’ lives have been saved because of drug prevention and education programs, and awareness about prescription medications. It is because of this that solutions have been found to help teens in the state; the proper help is available in your area. Connecticut has just over five different types of treatment/locations for teens, everything from counseling, outpatient/support groups, and Inpatient help.

Did you know this about Youth?

Youth addiction, when addressed in a treatment, is different compared to an adult who has more responsibility in life. An adult has often families to take care of and also if in trouble with the law, the consequences are far greater than for an adolescent.

In order to ensure a loved one will accept treatment; it is important to continue to support their treatment needs. Parents should always let their son or daughter know they are loved, and drug rehabilitation is the only solution, which will help their problems. The treatment process can help all kinds of addiction, and a suitable program will also continue to support their patient throughout the whole process.

Adolescent drug and alcohol treatment resources are spread across the state of Connecticut; listed on the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration websites are over 30 different resources. Within the major cities are not as many adolescent treatment resources as are needed to treat adolescent substance abuse, dependency, and addiction. Adolescent drug abuse must be treated properly, and resources should be available for all types of addiction throughout the state of Connecticut.
