Free Or Low-budget Rehab Centers For Drug And Alcohol Addiction In Connecticut

Some addicts end up so far in debt that they have absolutely no way of paying for drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and in other cases have no real insurance that may cover their treatment. Within the state of Connecticut, there are just over five different locations where affordable and or free drug rehab is provided. These solutions will give an addict a chance at getting some help and starting on the road to recovery.

A free or low-budget drug and alcohol treatment service in Connecticut will be one that is entirely funded by local government or some other outside source. These types of services will also be supported by volunteers and often have to rely on donations. Many of the low-cost or free services in Connecticut are there to help the homeless population, and the vulnerable, and those who have no financial means to afford treatment. Substance abuse and addiction can take so much away, and without the right help, an addict, especially one who is homeless will not be able to overcome his or her addiction. These types of programs that are low-budget or free, will not necessarily be long-term or always residential. They will often be short-term services, and facilities that are set up as shelters or those that provide medical support and treatment to the homeless and the vulnerable throughout the state. Having no support, and being homeless while struggling with an addiction is beyond difficult, and volunteer organizations such as free programs are important.
