One of the problems within the field of addiction is some "referral agencies" are, in fact, owned by treatment centers to fill their beds, which is by itself misleading visitors. This is widely covered on the Internet https://theintercept.com/2017/10/17/google-search-drug-use-opioid-epidemic/.

DRS and RNT CONSULTING LLC are an independent website and call center not owned by any treatment. We are also trying to refer you to treatment that believes in good treatment practice, not rehabs that substitute an addiction with another dependency using medication. We believe that a drug-free life can be achieved. Medication can be used but only for detox purpose.

Our goal is to give you the possibility of attain a drug-free life.

Connecticut Hospital Inpatient Services for Alcohol and Drug Abuse

Did you know this about hospital inpatient treatment?

Hospital inpatient treatment is offered for those whose addiction requires 24/7 care from medical staff.

With many cases of addiction, there are significant mental-health problems connected to it, and a hospital inpatient drug rehab program can be beneficial for the addict. Mental-health problems can go hand in hand with substance abuse disorders, and this is commonly referred to as a duel diagnosis. Some of the common mental-health problems that are associate with an addiction include eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and other similar problems. Hospital inpatient drug rehab centers can provide the patient with continuous medical supervision from qualified doctors and nurses. Across the state of Connecticut are many different types of inpatient drug and alcohol rehab centers. Included in these programs are hospital inpatient services. For example, many cases of alcohol addiction require medical detox or constant medical supervision, which can be gotten at a hospital inpatient program. These types of programs can be covered by health insurance, but are also programs that will be at a cost, which can be a daily rate for the room. This will be different from each program, and it is important to search out the right type of services to help someone who is struggling with a drug or alcohol addiction.

Partial Hospitalization Programs for Drug Addiction in Connecticut

Partial hospitalization programs in Connecticut are still considered intensive outpatient services, but do provide more onsite continuous medical care for a patient. This can include medication management, detox, and assistance with dual diagnosis treatment. A partial hospitalization program will still require the addict to attend treatment sessions five to seven days a week for up to eight hours a day. The length of time needed to go through a partial hospitalization program in Connecticut will depend on many factors, such as the types of drugs being used, how long they have been using drugs, and what physical and mental-health problems there are. Partial hospitalization services are beneficial for addicts who want more medical care, and have not been abusing drugs for several years. Residential drug rehab is a better option for long-term drug addicts, but partial hospitalization programs can still be a good stepping stone for an addict in recovery after they have completed an inpatient center in Connecticut.
