We are also trying to refer you to treatment that believes in good treatment practice, not rehabs that substitute an addiction with another dependency using medication. Drug Rehab Centers in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania

Within the county of Allegheny, there are well over 50 different substance abuse treatment resources spread all across the county and in its many different communities. Twelve-step meetings are located all throughout the county, and are able to help any form of addiction, and any type of addict. The twelve-step program is very applicable to any addiction, and can also help recovering addicts continue to work on their sobriety, and maintain this sobriety for the rest of their days. Residential and outpatient facilities are available within the county, and many of these programs are either long-term treatment or short-term treatment. Payment options will be different with each drug and alcohol treatment center, but most facilities will be able to accept some form of state health insurance, which can cover some or all the costs involved. Other facilities will be private centers, and will come at an out-of-pocket cost to the family or addict. The cost will usually depend on what type of treatment it is, how long the program may be, and whether or not it is residential or outpatient. For those families who do not have health insurance, or may be living below the poverty line, drug and alcohol treatment centers do provide free programs or low cost treatment options.
