3 Wings of Life

The 3 wings of life program specifically work with children who are suffering from addictions, trauma, social or behavioral disorders, and other problems. The program provides equine based therapy, and work with children and their families on location.

The 3 Wings of Life is a rural, unique drug and alcohol addiction and rehabilitation program.  This center engages a Twelve Step approach that is quite helpful to those who suffer with addiction, and it gives local addicts a chance to finally experience freedom.

Does your child have an addiction, trauma, social / behavioral disorder, or other issues? EAP can help with your child find meaningful lasting solutions.* Excerpt from Equine Assisted Therapy: Kids with emotional and behavioral issues can be difficult to work with. Most of them are slow to trust adults, and may be unwilling to trust anyone at all. In addition, if the emotional or behavioral issues are caused by abuse, the child could be angry and prone to emotional outbursts. Cognitive therapy that includes an equine assisted program can be of great benefit to this type of person.

Though this center is not in a major, urban area, it does provide a lot of help and assistance to the addicted individuals in this area of Arizona.  3 Wings of Life is mainly a program for young adults, teens, and adolescents, and it operates off of an inpatient basis to address addiction problems in the Gold Canyon area.  3 Wings of Life utilizes a more holistic, alternative approach to drug and alcohol addiction as opposed to the more traditional, Twelve Step approach.  3 Wings of Life accepts most forms of health insurance and they have a self-pay, sliding scale fee system for clients who do not have health insurance and who have low incomes.
