Abstinent Living at the Turning Point at Washington has dedicated four residential locations to women in need of support and care to become entirely sober. This organization has prepared three recovery programs, one is for residential treatment, the next is for relapse prevention and skill development, and the last is dedicated to helping women transition back into the society. The suburban half house is located in a safe and secure location, where the women can conveniently participate in church and twelve-step events. Their recovery services are designed to help women struggling with addiction and substance abuse issues. They offer individual and group counseling services to the clients during recovery; this counsel aims to help them identify their addiction, so they can control it. Clients are also given regular life skill sessions, which aim to promote self-esteem and responsibility in the clients. These sessions also aim to help the clients learn to behave in a socially acceptable manner through household and community activities. Community activities are a big part of the residential half housing as it helps the women slowly transition from the residential space into the community.
