Abstinent Living at the Turning Point at Washington has prepared four comprehensive treatment and transitional programs for female addicts. They aim to offer a gender-specific environment, where the clients can have a safe and sober recovery. This facility offers aftercare counselling and relapse prevention sessions in the three-quarter way house, while residential and halfway housing is available at separate places. The counselling available through the three-quarter way program uses a multi-dimensional approach and aims to heal the client mentally, physically, and spiritually. Clients are also given vocational training during the recovery and housing, so they may become productive members of the community. This program uses group and individual counselling services to offer treatment, both of which use the dual diagnosis method to treat mental health issues and substance abuse issues. The clients are also given regular life skill sessions to help them improve their self-esteem and responsibility. It also aims to teach those household skills and social skills through community and household chores, which regularly allotted during the group sessions. Clients are also offered 12 step groups regularly during recovery; these group sessions offer support in a safe and supportive environment.
