Appalachian Teen Challenge focuses its services to treat substance abuse in young adults through a Christian discipleship program. It is a fate-based program that offers the clients experiential therapy sessions in a controlled and disciplined environment. They apply a comprehensive and faith-based plan of treatment and recovery in a group and individual form for best results. This Center treats substance abuse addiction through an inpatient service, which mainly consists of counselling and detoxification sessions. The residential recovery plan for substance abuse and dependency through the medically assisted treatment, which is a highly-structured program with a personalized treatment method. The young clients receive a medically administered detoxification session so they can start their recovery with a healthier body.
