The Rochester Women’s Center is a residential addiction recovery program for women operated by Adult & Teen Challenge Minnesota, a faith-based nonprofit serving communities throughout the state. Located in Rochester, the center primarily supports women from southeastern Minnesota, including a dedicated focus on mothers working to reunite with and care for their children. With 74 beds, it offers a women-only community where clients can concentrate on healing away from the pressures that fueled their addiction.
Residential Treatment in a Women-Centered Community
The center delivers licensed residential treatment for women seeking freedom from drug and alcohol addiction, pairing clinical care with a structured daily environment built specifically around women’s needs. Life on campus is designed to support the whole person, with spaces such as a chapel, a workout room, and a children’s playground that reflect the program’s family-aware, faith-rooted setting. This women-only community gives residents a stable and encouraging place to focus on recovery alongside others facing similar challenges.
A Track for Mothers Involved with Child Protection
The Rochester center also has a track for mothers involved with the child protection system, giving these women a supportive and structured path toward recovery. Within this track, mothers work on parenting and life skills while addressing the substance use that has affected their families, helping them build the stability needed to move forward. The on-site playground and family-minded amenities reflect the center’s attention to the bond between mothers and their children.
Long-Term Recovery and Outpatient Care
For women who want a deeper and more sustained path, the center offers the faith-based Life Renewal program, a long-term recovery process centered on spiritual growth and personal transformation. Continued care is also available through outpatient services at a separate location in Rochester, giving women a way to maintain their progress as they transition back into daily life. Together these options let the center meet women at different points in their recovery rather than at a single stage.
