Calls to the website’s main helpline are answered by Wert Inc., a call center that specializes in helping individuals and families across the United States find resources for substance use disorder.

Addicted.org and Wert Inc. do not own any rehab or addiction services. This means our helpline can provide completely independent and unbiased advice to help you find the rehab service most suitable for you or your loved one.

Please note that if you are calling from California, your call will be answered by Alli Intervention, an intervention service based in California. However, when calling the helpline, you are under no obligation to use any of their services.

Our helpline comes at no cost to the caller and offers complete confidentiality.

Advanced DUI & Counseling LLC

About this center

Advanced DUI and Counseling is an outpatient substance use counseling and DUI education provider in Reno, Nevada. The practice offers state-required DUI school classes, court-mandated substance use treatment groups, an intensive outpatient program, and help for people resolving DUI requirements from other states. Its counselors are certified or licensed by the Nevada Board of Examiners for Alcohol, Drug and Gambling Counselors, with interns supervised on site and overseen by an in-house clinical director.

Counseling Approach and Treatment Programs

Advanced DUI and Counseling takes a nonjudgmental approach to substance use treatment, encouraging clients to examine their own relationship with alcohol and drugs rather than assigning them a label. Counselors use motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and twelve-step facilitation, and group sessions combine personal check-ins, where each client shares recent successes and struggles, with presentations on addiction and recovery. For clients whose court orders call for longer substance use disorder treatment, the practice runs group therapy on various days and times, with program length set by the court or the client’s evaluation and typically ranging from about six to 12 months. Topics include the science of addiction, how substance use affects health, coping skills, relapse prevention, and building a sober support network. An intensive outpatient program and a focus group on marijuana use are also offered, and a weekly twelve-step facilitation group helps clients get more involved in Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, or similar fellowships, including finding a sponsor and working the steps.

DUI School and Out-of-State Cases

The practice teaches Nevada’s 12-hour Level I DUI school, a live course delivered over three days, with classes held throughout the week and the option to attend in person or join by video. Clients who need more than the basic course can take Level II DUI school, a 14-session program that begins with the Level I classes and continues with 12 weekly one-hour sessions on the legal, financial, health, and family consequences of impaired driving. Advanced DUI and Counseling also helps Nevada residents who received a DUI in another state, researching that state’s specific treatment requirements and recreating them locally through a customized plan. The practice reports helping clients with requirements from more than 35 states and offers a range of California DUI programs, with every out-of-state case reviewed by the clinical director before enrollment.
