Who Answers?

Calls to the website’s main helpline are answered by Wert Inc., a call center that specializes in helping individuals and families across the United States find resources for substance use disorder.

Addicted.org and Wert Inc. do not own any rehab or addiction services. This means our helpline can provide completely independent and unbiased advice to help you find the rehab service most suitable for you or your loved one.

Please note that if you are calling from California, your call will be answered by Alli Intervention, an intervention service based in California. However, when calling the helpline, you are under no obligation to use any of their services.

Our helpline comes at no cost to the caller and offers complete confidentiality.

You can also browse our comprehensive list of addiction treatments by state by visiting our homepage. Don’t hesitate to reach out by calling our helpline or filling out our contact form if you need help finding the right rehab center or detox program. However, if you believe you have a medical emergency, you should immediately call 911.

Alliance Counseling Associates – Springfield

Updated on: 25 September 2026

About this center

Alliance Counseling Associates runs an office in Springfield, Missouri, one of five locations the practice keeps across the southwest part of the state. Springfield is its group therapy site, with group work listed as the service provided from this office and clients coming from several surrounding counties. Alliance Counseling Associates has been in operation for more than 20 years.

Group Therapy in Springfield

Group therapy is what this office is set up to deliver. Group work places a person alongside others moving through similar difficulties, so part of what helps comes from the other people in the room rather than from the counselor alone. Clients travel in from several counties rather than only the immediate area, and sessions are outpatient, meaning people keep their jobs and home routines while attending.

The Wider Practice

Alliance Counseling Associates as a whole provides more than group work. Across its offices, services include substance use assessment and treatment, individual, family, and couples counseling, trauma-focused therapy including EMDR, a technique used to help people process distressing memories, and parenting skills instruction and classes, along with court-referred programs such as anger management and a batterer intervention program. The practice’s other four locations are in Branson, Aurora, Reeds Spring, and Cassville.
