Mental Health Association for Greater Baton Rouge - Alliance House Residential Center

Mental Health Association of Greater Baton Rouge aims to bring quality care for the community of Baton Rouge. They offer recovery and treatment services for substance abuse and mental health problems. Their core values are to give respect and dignity to those individuals that are being cared for in their facility, to offer a new healthier lifestyle in their counseling sessions, to empower the clients to become a better version of themselves. The Alliance House Residential Center provides budget-friendly substance abuse services in the form of inpatient rehabilitation. This center is mainly built for the treatment in adults struggling with chemical abuse. The residential treatment at this facility is available as a long-term or short-term program, which longer or shorter than 30 days, respectively. They also offer prevention education.

The Alliance House Residential Center (AHRC) is a transitional living facility for individuals with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.  The program houses 24 adult clients, 11 males and 13 females. 

The AHRC is funded through Louisiana Rehabilitation Services (LRS) and Capital Area United Way.  Clients must be eligible for services through LRS.  The length of stay is three - six months. During their stay, clients receive assistance in money management, life skills, and job placement. Our main goals for clients are sobriety and transition into permanent housing. It is important that clients view their stay at the AHRC  as an opportunity for success and a second step after recovery.

The Mental Health Association for Greater Baton Rouge Alliance House Residential Center is an inpatient, residential, drug and alcohol addiction treatment center that also focuses on prevention and education.  The rehab program is a recognized and long term treatment center that is a popular, workable, supportive, recovery-minded, both one on one committed and group focused approach to drug and alcohol addiction and dependence treatment, detox, rehab, recovery, and permanent sobriety.  The program can be paid for with insurance through High Mark Health and Living, Humana Insurance Plans and Policies, Health Smart Insurance, Cooks Children's and Adult’s Health Plan and First Care Approach, American Family Health Insurance, ComPsych Health Plan PPO, The Managed Health Network, America’s Health Insurance Plans, and The Health Net Insurance Plan.  The Mental Health Association for Greater Baton Rouge Alliance House Residential Center offers aftercare options too, so people can get a lot of help there.
