Bergen County Department of Health Services offers substance abuse treatment to women at their Spring House center. This center is designed to offer gender-specific care to clients dealing with severe addiction issues. They provide short-term residential care to women after assessment. The assessment allows the counselors to prepare an effective treatment plan for the client’s recovery needs. Their counseling services use the 12-step approach offer support and guidance to the clients under their care. Those female clients that successfully complete the residential addiction recovery will also be given halfway housing.
