Brazos Valley Council on Alc and SA Adult Level II

Brazos Valley Council on ALC and SA offers intensive care for individuals with severe substance abuse problems through their intensive substance abuse outpatient counselling program. This program is built on evidence-based mechanics that are implemented after the assessment. They offer eight weeks of counselling with three hours of one-on-one counselling for four days each week. They offer the same intensive counselling method through the Specialized Females (TRF) program. Some of the services that this program offers is relapse prevention. Fulfillment of basic needs service, development of personal goals, personal recovery as goals, cognitive intervention, recovery skills, tobacco cessation, 12-step wisdom, and many other services of the like. This service is also paired with the Supportive Outpatient Continuum of Care (SOCC) program that is designed to offer a curriculum of sober lifestyle that is known as the Seeking Safety counselling. The services included in this service are smoking cessation, recovery skills, identifying triggers, drug education, and relationship counselling, self-nurturing, and so forth.
