Substance Use Disorders (formerly known as Alcohol/Drug Abuse) BBAHC’s Substance Use Disorders Treatment Program, Jake’s Place, provides treatment at the American Society of Addictions Medicine (ASAM) Levels of Care: I.0-Outpatient which meets 1 time per week for skill building group activities with 1 time per month individual contact. II.5-Day Treatment which is M-F 8:00 to 5:00 programming same as Residential component for a minimum of 20 hours per week of clinical services. III.5-High Intensity Residential Treatment, a minimum of 20 hours per week of clinical services, and case management. Jake’s Place is considered a Dual Diagnosis Capable treatment program by the Alaska Department of Behavioral Health. Services include group and individual counseling and skill building, individual therapy, family education and comprehensive support. The education and skill building curricula utilized are recognized as Best Practices and incorporate cultural aspects and activities.
