Capital Area Human Services - Adult Behavioral Health

Capital Area Human Services is a client-centered recovery organization; it offers to empower treatment to the individuals seeking help under their care. They offer treatment programs for behavioral health needs, developmental disability, and substance abuse. Their programs are structured in a way that they prioritize the ability to improve the emotional and physical well-being of the client. Their philosophy is to support the client all the way to recovery, so they find it easier to become a sober and productive member of the society. Their substance abuse counseling services are available to the people living in Baton Rouge community through their outpatient service. DUI/DWI offenders may also seek help at this facility.

The services and supports provided by the District are those determined by the client to be important to their success and stability. Our staff works with the client as a unified team to facilitate the individual in attaining their goals.

The Capital Area Human Services Adult Behavioral Health is an outpatient substance abuse treatment center that specializes in helping people who also have legal troubles too.  The Capital Area Human Services Adult Behavioral Health, to summarize, is a community respected, well thought of, both long term and short term operating drug and alcohol addiction and dependence treatment center, health clinic, detox clinic, rehab program, recovery focused organization, addiction prevention association, and permanent sobriety-focused group.  The program can be funded through self pay or insurance with The First Care Health Plans Organization, HCSC Health Insurance Inc., United Health Care Services, Magellan Health Services, Exclusive Care Health Care Inc., LifeSynch Health Plans, First Health Network, APS PPO Health Care, The Medical Mutual Health Insurance Organization, American Health Group, and The Community Health Choice Association.  The Capital Area Human Services Adult Behavioral Health also offers aftercare services to help prevent a relapse.
