Catholic Charities was established in 1966; its main purpose was to help the helpless and give the vulnerable individuals a haven. They promote the concepts of sharing, compassion, excellence, respect, integrity, and stewardship. They offer behavioral healthcare, childcare, community outreach, senior outreach and parish services. It incorporates faith-based recovery principles that invigorate the mind and the body of the individuals that seek help under their care. The Saint Francis Extended Shelter center devotes its substance abuse treatment services to the individuals in its nearby community through outpatient and inpatient programs. Its services can be found through the long-term rehabilitation program, which works as a transition services through the halfway housing. They offer compassionate care to the recovery individuals through their Christian-Centered aftercare program.
