Bluegrass - Charles I Schwartz Chemical Dependency Treatment Center

Bluegrass aims to assist families and individuals in their pursuit to achieve a better and healthier life. They give them a chance to become more vigorous in the mind, body, and soul through their effective counseling method. Their counseling is available for substance abuse issues, mental health issues, and developmental disabilities. They implement a system of respect and dignity, from where the client can grow to become a better person in their everyday life. The staff at Schwartz center holds higher knowledge so that the client can learn new skills under their care. The Schwartz center offers substance abuse recovery services for adult men and women of the Lexington community through the outpatient and inpatient program; they also use detoxification services during these treatments.

The Bluegrass Charles I Schwartz Chemical Dependency Treatment Center is a well-varied and helpful rehab center.  The treatment program engages struggling addicts in several different types of treatment approaches.  The program offers outpatient counseling, inpatient detox, and inpatient, residential treatment options for those who need such help.

Bluegrass.org has served the 17-county Bluegrass Area for more than 45 years. Our system of care includes Bluegrass Comprehensive Services, which assists individuals, children, and families in the enhancement of their well-being through mental health, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and substance abuse services; Bluegrass Oakwood, an intermediate care facility for individuals with intellectual    and developmental disabilities; Bluegrass Prevention, a community-based program targeting alcohol, tobacco, and drug prevention; and the Children's Review Program, a state-funded program designed to assess the needs of children in the state's care.
