Cohesion Counseling and Intervention Services

Cohesion Counseling and Intervention Services provides two uniquely crafted programs to deal with substance abuse and other behavioral issues. They offer a CRAFT program that stands for community reinforcement & family training; it provides support and counselling services. This program is the model of motivational approaches to treatment, most of its counselling sessions are dependent upon family participation. Their secondary recovery program uses the model of intervention to deal with individual clients. This program offers treatment through three phases of recovery namely; system intervention, systematic treatment, and systematic reintegration. The first phase of this treatment uses the counselling sessions to incorporate positive and healing interactions into the behavior of the client; they are moved away from the shame-based interactions. The second phase focuses on bringing the client to complete recovery by focusing on their issues as a whole. The third phase brings the clients integrate their new behavioral and lifestyle habits while living a sober life under a support system. This allows them to transition into the community quickly.
