Buxmont Academy & Community Service Foundation – Bethlehem

Buxmont Academy provides behavioral counselling service to adolescent through the Community Service Foundation Inc. They offer emotional, behavioral, and academic counselling to the individuals through the Ready program. It aims to help the client improve their abilities through a unique and education program. It uses Aggression Replacement Training® and Restorative practices to help the adolescents learn healthier social behavior. The ready program helps the adolescents under their care deal with self-esteem issues, mental health issues, behavioral health issues, and emotional issues. They also offer to counsel for ungovernable, impulsive, aggressive, and disruptive behavior. The counselling also addresses any alcohol abuse and drug addiction issues the client may have; it also helps them transition from such behaviors in a gradual manner. Their counselling service can also be used as a drug transition service as it can help the young clients under their care become accustomed to the proper social behaviors of the society. Adolescents can also join the comprehensive academic program, which will offer them technology skills, coaching for GED and SAT, and other PSSA examinations.
