Treatment begins with an assessment to determine whether an individual has a substance use problem and to identify the appropriate level of care. Prevention, Education, and Community Services
Beyond clinical treatment, CADA operates prevention programs in schools and communities across Greater New Orleans, including the Too Good for Drugs social and emotional learning curriculum and the Partnership for Success youth prevention initiative. The organization provides substance abuse education and DWI/DUI classes, employee assistance program development for employers, pre-employment screening, fitness-for-duty evaluations, drug and alcohol testing, and SBIRT (Screening, Brief Intervention, Referral to Treatment) services for healthcare providers.
