Covenant Community

Covenant Community is a residential substance abuse treatment facility for homeless men; it aims to improve and upgrade the lives of the people that seek shelter in its community. It employs various tools and executes excellent life skill classes to stabilize the lives of the individuals that are a part of its community. It also offers personalized counseling sessions for each of its clients for a smooth recovery. To keep the clients sober even after the treatment is complete; they provide extended recovery services in the form of aftercare. 

The Covenant Community is a strong and workable addiction rehabilitation program in the Atlanta, Georgia area.  The Covenant Community offers halfway housing, aftercare, sober living, residential long term care, substance abuse treatment, and even a basic, Twelve Step approach too.  The Covenant Community is incredibly helpful and engaging for those who go there, and a lot of people are helped by it.

Covenant Community, Inc. is a residential, life-stabilization program serving men addicted to alcohol and/or drugs, ages eighteen or older. Created in 1990, the program supports fourteen residents who have completed a short-term stay in a detoxification facility and have made a covenant with the Community to follow a strict therapeutic regimen for a minimum of six months. Covenant Community is based on the therapeutic community model. Personal responsibility and community accountability are the hallmarks of this model. After completing the Covenant Community program, residents may transition to the Martha Sterne House, our transitional program that supports up to ten men maintaining their sobriety in a supportive residential community.

For some of the basic data and overall information about this treatment center, the Covenant Community is probably best known for being a multi modality, evidence based, results based, tailor made, varied, multiple approach drug and alcohol addiction and dependence detox facility, treatment center, recovery organization, certified addiction prevention community, and rehabilitation program.  The Covenant Community can be covered and paid for with self pay, or it can be paid for with private health insurance from United Health Care Services, Magellan Health Services and Insurance Plans Incorporated, Exclusive Care Health Care Inc., LifeSynch Health Plans, American Family Health Insurance Plans, ComPsych Health and Liveliness Plan PPO, Health Net Insurance Plan PPO and HMO, High Mark Health and Living Organization, Humana Insurance Plans and Policies Inc., and Health Smart Insurance.  The Covenant Community also offers aftercare options too, so those who go there are able to really win the battle.
