About this center

Crossroads Connect and Westminster Recovery are the connected outpatient programs of a behavioral health provider based in Westminster, Maryland. The center offers substance use disorder treatment for adults and adolescents, delivered in person at its Westminster office and virtually across the state. Its approach is structured, collaborative, and trauma-informed, built on meeting clients wherever they are in the recovery process.

Intensive Outpatient Program

The center’s intensive outpatient program provides structured yet flexible care for a wide range of clients, from youth to older adults balancing school, work, parenting, or other responsibilities. The program meets six days a week, including three evenings, with group sessions running about three hours at a time, and it typically spans roughly three months, easing in intensity as clients gain stability. Care combines group therapy with individual counseling and couples and family sessions for deeper support, and because the program integrates treatment for co-occurring mental health concerns, clients can address substance use and related challenges together. An additional stretch of aftercare follows the core program to reinforce relapse prevention as clients transition toward independent recovery.

Substance Use Support and DWI Programs

Beyond the intensive outpatient track, the center provides ongoing substance use disorder treatment focused on identifying triggers, building coping tools, and sustaining progress over time. It also offers relapse prevention support and specialized DWI and DUI education programs for individuals meeting Level .05 and Level 1.0 requirements. Services are provided by a team of seasoned clinicians and can be accessed either in person in Westminster or remotely through virtual programming available throughout Maryland.
