Cumberland Heights – Crossville

Cumberland Heights has designed it recovery services with the belief that addiction is a disease that can be treated through appropriate measures. However, like other diseases, if left untreated it can worsen in time to cause other problems. The programs offer at this facility follow the successful methodology of twelve steps for addiction and dependency disorders. The Crossville provides their counselling services for substance abuse through outpatient and intensive outpatient programs. The clients are assessed to determine the amount of care they need to develop a healthier lifestyle, after which, they are either prompted to attend the outpatient program or the intensive outpatient program. They also offer family programs at their facility that aim to help the client develop healthier familial relationships. The family members of the clients are also asked to participate in the counselling sessions so that the client can develop healthier support systems within their family circle to help them maintain a sober and more productive life. The programs available at this facility are also very flexible, they are designed so that the people busy with college or work can find counsel through their effective recovery service.
