Direct Counseling Inc. is a substance abuse treatment and DUI services provider with an office in Crystal Lake, Illinois. Evaluations and Risk-Based Programming
Direct Counseling conducts DUI evaluations for court, alcohol and drug evaluations, and investigative evaluations, each lasting one to two hours. Based on the evaluation, clients are placed into tiered programming: Level I minimal risk requires 10 hours of risk education, Level II moderate risk includes 12 hours of early intervention, Level II significant risk runs four to six weeks, and Level III high risk counseling spans ten to twelve weeks. Individual and group counseling sessions are also available, with group sessions running three hours. Aftercare services continue for one to six months following treatment completion.
Secretary of State Services
The center provides Secretary of State consultation and evaluation services for clients seeking driver’s license restoration following revocation. This includes DUI evaluations with alcohol and drug history review, updated evaluations, review of Secretary of State denial letters, and hearing preparation assistance with clinical documentation prepared for Secretary of State review.
