Day One Residence offers a variety of services for substance abuse and mental health issues through various comprehensively built treatment programs. Their services are handled professionally; they include driver education and evaluation program (DEEP), evaluations, evidence-based treatment, family/couples therapy, individual therapy, intensive outpatient (ages 14-21), parent group, Portland teen center, and school-based services. Other services include the residential recovery program, the youth treatment center, and correctional services. Their services are mainly focused towards adolescents, whereas, the staff is experienced in dealing with the issues of the age criteria mentioned in treatment services for these youths.

Day One Residence is a drug and alcohol addiction treatment center in Bar Mills, Maine.  This rehab program is an adolescent, long term, substance abuse treatment program designed to assist young adults in conquering an addiction struggle and in totally removing substance abuse.

The Day One Residence, for a summary of the treatment center, is most well recognized for being a multiple approach, evidence oriented, results based, tailor structured, varied, essentially customizable drug and alcohol addiction and dependence detox facility, treatment center, recovery location, rehabilitation program, and state certified addiction prevention community.  While the center does specialize in helping adolescents, anyone of any age can go there for addiction help.  The Day One Residence can be paid for with self pay or it can be funded with insurance from Assurant Health Plan and Community, United Behavioral Health Plan, Great Western American Health Insurance, American Health Care, Blue Cross and Blue Shield Health Insurance, GEHA Health Plans and Policies, APS Health Care Insurance, Aetna Health Care, Cigna Health Care, and Coventry Insurance PPO.  The Day One Residence also offers aftercare and follow-up programs too, so clients can continue to work on improving recovery.
