RockWater Counseling Center, formerly known as DUI & Addiction Counseling Center, Inc., is an outpatient substance abuse treatment and early intervention provider in Mundelein, Illinois. The center opened in December 2008 to address substance abuse concerns in Lake County and the surrounding area. Licensed by the Illinois Department of Human Services Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery, RockWater serves both adults and adolescents dealing with substance use disorders and behavioral addictions.
Treatment Programs and Services
RockWater provides a range of outpatient services including substance abuse assessment, individualized treatment planning, and therapeutic counseling. Its outpatient treatment program meets three times weekly and is designed for individuals with substance use disorders who need to maintain daily routines and work responsibilities. The center also offers intensive outpatient programming that includes individual and group counseling, network therapy, relapse prevention, and linkages to healthcare providers. DUI and OWI services include court-ordered evaluations, risk education, and counseling at multiple levels of intensity based on assessed risk, as well as guidance for license reinstatement and Illinois Secretary of State hearings.
Adolescent Services
The center addresses adolescent substance abuse by identifying underlying behavioral and mental health factors and promoting risk reduction through early intervention, parental involvement, and communication. RockWater’s adolescent programming focuses on recognizing warning signs and connecting young people with appropriate support before substance use progresses further.
