About this center

DUI Community Counseling Inc. is a licensed outpatient substance abuse treatment provider in Chicago, Illinois, serving Cook County and surrounding areas since 2010. The center is licensed by the Illinois Division of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery (SUPR) and is an approved provider on the Cook and DuPage County Circuit Court lists for DUI services. Founded by Monica M. Orozco, a Certified Reciprocal Alcohol and Drug Counselor, the center offers both in-person and online appointments and provides flexible payment plans and discounted rates based on financial need with income verification.

Evaluations and Risk-Based Programming

Treatment begins with a 90-minute alcohol and drug evaluation to determine substance use disorder severity and provide a DUI classification diagnosis. From there, clients are placed into tiered programming: minimal risk requires 10 hours of DUI risk education covering the effects of alcohol and drugs on judgment, behavior, and motor skills along with impaired driving laws. Moderate risk involves up to 22 hours of intervention services. Significant risk treatment runs 42 hours, and high risk intensive outpatient treatment requires up to 99 hours. Sessions run two to three hours, and the center serves adults 18 and older, with clients ages 16 to 17 admitted when appropriate.

Secretary of State Services and Client Support

The center assists clients with regaining driving privileges, including Secretary of State hearing preparation, evaluation reports, and response to license denial letters. Patient advocacy and case management services are also available.
