Sanders Center for First Responders aims to provide client-centred substance abuse treatment to families and individuals. They offer treatment to clients through outpatient counseling service, which uses primary counseling based on evidence-based practices. It also uses specialized gender-based counseling sessions to help clients feel comfortable in a safe environment so they may discuss their issues with their peers. The counseling is also available through intensive outpatient counseling program; it offers more hours of counseling in a structured way. This type of counseling program is more suited to clients with moderate to severe addiction issues.
