Family Promise of Southwestern Pennsylvania (Washington)

While there are programs providing shelter and food throughout the region, a unique aspect of Family Promise is our dedication to keeping families together. We welcome:

Two-parent families (in most programs, mom and the children would be accepted and dad would have to find somewhere else to go)
Single fathers with children (there are virtually no programs where a dad and his kids can stay)
Parents with teenagers (many programs will not accept a boy over 12 or older teen girls)
Grandparents caring for their minor grandchildren
and, we serve single mothers and their children
