Fayette County Drug and Alcohol Commission Inc. offers a full continuum of drug and alcohol treatment services clients can receive outpatient detoxification treatment for opiate addiction at this facility. This program will provide medication management; however, the client will need self-support at home. This facility also offers DOT and SAP assessment services to the clients. They have also prepared a specialized counselling program known as the Children of Alcoholics (COA); it aims to help the children of alcoholics through counselling and educational programs. Coordinated recovery services for mental health and substance abuse disorders is also available to the clients through their Mental Illness/Substance Abuse (MISA) program; it uses the dual diagnosis approach of therapy. Clients with a gambling addiction can also receive counselling at this facility through the Gambling Addiction counselling program. This program offers individual and group counselling to the clients in a professional environment. Other services such as AA & NA meetings and overdose grief support groups are also available at this facility.
